Is my LEI information public?
Yes. LEI and related entity data are published on www.tnvlei.com and shared with GLEIF.
Who verifies the data submitted?
TNV-LEI’s compliance and validation team checks data against official registries and records.
What is parent relationship reporting?
GLEIF requires declaration of Direct and Ultimate Parent entities or valid exceptions.
How do I raise a challenge against incorrect LEI data?
Send a challenge request via the TNV-LEI portal or email challenge@tnvlei.com.

How long is an LEI valid?
An LEI is valid for one year and must be renewed annually to remain active.
Who is Eligible for an LEI?
Any legal entity that:

Is legally registered or constituted under national law,

Has legal capacity to enter into contracts independently,

Can be uniquely identified in an official register, and

Participates in financial transactions or regulatory reporting.
Can individuals apply for an LEI?
No, LEIs are issued only to legal entities, not to individuals.
Will I get a new LEI after transfer?
The LEI remains unchanged; only the managing LOU changes.

An LEI is a 20-character alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies legally distinct entities that engage in financial transactions globally.
