LEI vs Business Registration Number in Qatar

An LEI is not the same as the MoCI Commercial Registration (CR) number from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) commercial register, or the Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA) register for QFC-registered firms. The registration number identifies you locally; the LEI identifies you globally and uniquely in financial transactions.
